Blue Tang

The Blue Tang, also known as the Regal Tang is found among the reefs of the Indo-Pacific. This is a fish with an amazing color pattern that impresses anyone who sees them in an aquarium. If you’re planning on owning more than one Blue Tang, they should be acqui at the same time to prevent aggression. They will get along with other Tangs, but those sharing its shape should be avoided. Blue Tangs eats mostly plankton as a juvenile and become more omnivorous with maturity. It's very important to keep its immune system strong for a long life, so its diet should be supplemented with seaweed or dried algae and vitamin enriched food.
